Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Broadland Orion

Positives: Easy to handle cruiser steered from the elevated centre cockpit, with good all round visibility making this craft suitable for beginners. She has permantly made-up twin beds in the forward cabin, and a converting setteee double in the saloon area. Separate toilet and shower rooms for convenience. Fold down screens in saloon allow easier passage under bridges.

Negatives: An older classic boat, which is now showing its age. Entrance is at the side of the craft, with steep steps into the salon area. The fold down wheelhouse can also be a bit of a struggle. As such, this is not a suitable boat for those who are less able. No bow thrusters.
