Moorings are available either just before the road bridge or within the Yacht Station which is nearer the town centre, though an overnight fee is payable here. A 10 to 15-minute walk will take you into the town centre with a myriad of shops, banks, restaurants, and bars.
Eating and Drinking. The nearest public house to the Yacht Station is the Bear and Bells, a large establishment with a separate restaurant.
The Kings Head is a Wetherspoons outlet serving an extensive menu situated on the market square.
The Waveney House Hotel is situated on the riverside with a fine restaurant.
