Review of the Norfolk Broads boat Bronze Gem
Boat Name Bronze Gem
Boatyard Richardsons Boats
Sleeps 4
Positives: Bronze Gem is a roomy, classic cruiser featuring two permanently made-up double cabins. This forward-drive boat boasts a sliding sunroof over the helm and saloon, complemented by expansive picture windows that flood the interior with light. With a single-level floor throughout and access points at both the front and rear, it's well-suited for the less agile crew. At the front, a generously sized seating area provides the perfect spot for fishing or simply enjoying the view as the world drifts by.
Negatives: The saloon could become overly hot in the high summer. The boat doesn't have a sliding wheelhouse, only a sunroof, similar to what you might find in a car. Be aware that your side view over the reed-fringed banks on forward drive cruisers is limited. This is the trade-off for more headroom at bridges across the Broads.
Bronze Gem dimensions: 11.28m x 3.81m (37ft x 12ft 6in)
