Norwich Yacht Station

Situated close to the railway station. A charge of £16 is made for overnight moorings from 10am and £8 for daytime mooring between 10am and 8pm. Refuse bins, toilets and showers on-site.

Thorpe Green.

Situated in a cut made away from the main river. Free mooring is allowed at the village green and outside the Rushcutters for patrons. Beware the low rail bridges at either end of the cut where headroom can vary enough to trap the unsuspecting skipper until the tide has receded.

Bramerton

Free moorings outside the Waters Edge Inn for patrons or a little further away along a pleasant green area, just 10 minutes walk from the Inn. Electric hook up point.

Surlingham

The Ferry Inn provides free moorings and from here you can walk into the village.

Rise and fall: 2ft.

Brundall

Brooms boatyard has a number of free moorings and is located on the main river. Toilets and showers at Brooms. The village is a short walk away.

Rockland Broad

Take either of the two dykes which connect the Broad to the River Yare. A narrow dyke leads from the Broad to the village of Rockland. There are free moorings at the village staithe. Moor stern on. Electric hook up point .

Buckenham

Free moorings are available outside the Beauchamp Arms public house

Cantley

Free moorings for patrons of the Reedcutters public house, close to the sugar factory.

Rise and fall: 2ft 6in.

Reedham

Moorings outside the Reedham Ferry Inn, which is free if you are a customer. A 10 minute cruise further on will bring you to Reedham Village Quay. Here you will find free mooring with the assistance of a quay ranger to help you moor. If you want to visit the village, these moorings are the closest. Public toilets nearby. Electric hook up point. Refuse bins.

Berney Arms

Free moorings are available outside the Berney Windmill, which is just before you enter Breydon Water. As the next stop is Yarmouth with its low bridges, this is the last point at which to tie up and wait for appropriate tidal conditions to see you through with enough headroom.

Great Yarmouth

Moor at the Yacht Station. Overnight mooring fee of £16 per boat for arrivals after 10 am. Day charge of £8 for stays between 10 am and 6 pm. Staff are usually in attendance between 8 am and 8 pm to help with mooring. We have a comprehensive guide to making the passage to or through Yarmouth HERE

Loddon

This large village is situated on the River Chet which runs for 3.5 miles from its junction with the River Yare. Free moorings are available either at Pyes Mill, which is a green space just before you see the boatyards of Loddon, or at the head of the river in the form of a large basin. Moor stern-on. Public toilets are available nearby. Electric hook-up points. Refuse bins.
